Donetsk Railways ((ウクライナ語:Донецька залізниця)) is a rail operator in East Ukraine. Belongs to Ukrainian Railways, but is out of control by the Ukrainian Government, because of the Donbass separatism. ==Main information== Serves the most important for the country's industrial heartland of Donbass-Donetsk and Lugansk, as well as partially Zaporozhye, Kharkov and Dnipropetrovsk region, thus combining in a single transport conveyor Donbass and the Dnipro, the Central regions of the Russian Federation and Ukraine, the Volga region and the Caucasus. In the South of Donetsk railway has access to the Azov sea through the commercial port of Mariupol, as well as access to the largest industrial center of Ukraine — Mariupol. The length of the Donetsk railway is 13% of the total length of the railway network of Ukraine. At the same time its part, account for 47% of loading and 36% of discharge from all Railways of Ukraine. The railway is located on the area of 57,000 km2. Donetsk railway is the main mode of transport, serving passengers and a large number of different industrial facilities: coal mine, metallurgical, coke-chemical and pipe mills, machine-building and machine-building plants, chemical, light, food and other industries.
